July 2003

 During most of this month we cruised the area near Loreto, perhaps the best cruising ground in the Sea of Cortez by virtue of the number of incredibly beautiful, safe anchorages in close proximity.  At the end of the month we were hit by lightning while on our way northward to San Carlos for a trip to Maine and to pick up our niece, Arlyn, for a month-long visit.
